Growing workplace use of AI makes keeping company information separate especially important. Google announced Android Enterprise features and plans on September 23, 2026, emphasizing work profiles, device management and administrator control over updates.

Boundaries around work data

Google says work profile isolation prevents personal AI agents from accessing corporate apps and information. Administrators can restrict or disable AI automation. Company policies also apply when business files are transferred through Quick Share.

Larger screens and update management

Supported Android devices can use an external monitor, keyboard and mouse for multi-window work. Management policies remain in force while the device is connected to the larger display.

Unified Update Controls and the Feedback API are intended to make update management clearer. Google places their rollout later in the year, so this announcement does not mean every feature is already available.

What this means for workers in Bangladesh

If an option is missing on a company-managed phone, contact your IT team instead of trying to remove restrictions. Availability depends on the device and your organization’s management setup.
